Today, Dell unveils its latest computing innovations which transform the mobile computing experience. The company is expanding its consumer portfolio with brand new form factors powered by new 10th Gen Intel® Core™ processors to the current XPS and Inspiron portfolio to deliver performance gains needed for compute intensive, demanding multi-thread workloads, while still handling 4K content efficiently. The new XPS 13 2-in-1 – modern, thinner design with up to 2.5 times more performance
The XPS line is Dell’s most awarded line of devices celebrated for its best-in-class technologies, exceptional build and materials, and ability to blend both power and beauty. Dell is taking that commitment one step further with the new XPS13 2-in-1.It is the world’s first Project Athena-verified laptop available with Intel’s new 10th Gen CoreTM, 10-nanometer silicon processors.
The XPS 13 2-in-1 is Dell’s first laptop with Intel’s 10th Gen Intel Core processors and features adaptive performance based on the latest Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology, which proactively changes the power of the CPU according to the performance of the workload. Dell has reengineered the thermal design to cool the higher performing processor while creating an overall 8% thinner 2-in-1 than the previous generation. The actively cooled 15W design can now offer up to 2.5 times more performance than the previous generation.[i]
Its new KillerTM AX1650 (2×2) built on Intel WiFi 6 Chipset offers wireless connectivity three times faster than previous generation. The Killer 1650 automatically detects, classifies, and prioritizes streaming video, communication, and game traffic, allowing users to enjoy fast and smooth online experiences.
New Inspiron Laptops – Power and style to suit every consumer
Dell is also bringing a range of new and versatile Inspiron laptops and 2-in-1s with fresh and contemporary designs, featuresand competitive prices. Now everyone can find something to fit their needs and spark their potential.
With the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, Dell is offering more performance for multi-threaded workloads in Dell’s new Inspiron line, including the new Inspiron 13 7391 2-in-1 laptop.Firstintroduced at CES 2019and a Computex Design Innovation Award winner, this new versionof the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 features a magnetic pen garage in the hinge to cleverly pockets theDell Active Penfor easyaccess regardless of which mode the 2-in-1 is in. And it still comes with an abundance of premium features expected of the Inspiron 7000 series, including a 4k UHD touch screen framed by a 3-sided narrow border, redesigned thermal flow that moves hot air through hidden vents in the hinges, and an entirely aluminum body with a diamond-cut edges on the touchpad that impresses with elegance.
Its new adaptive thermal design uses advanced algorithms and accelerometers to understand when the 2-in-1 is being held versus when stationary on a desk, and will ramp up power and take advantage of the increased airflow provided by the drop-hinge to provide the optimal computing experience for every situation.
